How Does The Church Worship?
The Holy Mass is the central act of worship in all Catholic churches, including the National Catholic Church. The Mass is the Sacrifice of the New Testament in which bread and wine are consecrated as the mystical Body and Blood of Christ. It is the perpetual commemoration of Christ's Sacrifice upon the Cross.
The Mass is celebrated in the language of the people. In addition to Mass, liturgical practices of the Church include contemporary services, devotions, lamentations, litanies, stations of the cross and vespers during the appropriate seasons.
